Carolina Filters offers filter maintenance programs for commercial, institutional, manufacturing and healthcare industries. These programs consist of changing filters according to NAFA Standards according to designated schedules or by pressure differential readings. Scheduled air filter maintenance allows our technicians to inspect the filters and HVAC systems on a regular basis to identify and remedy any problems that may arise.

Our filter maintenance program offers a computerized tracking system for filter change outs, which includes all pertinent information needed for maintaining an accurate recordkeeping system. This computerized tracking system also generates a master list and delivery tickets for filters scheduled to be changed. By outsourcing air filter service to Carolina Filters, our customers increase accountability, reduce costs, and allow their employees to focus on their core responsibilities.

Common Air Filtration Products

Pre-Pleat 40 MERV 8 Pleated Filters

The Pre-pleat 40, MERV 8 filters are designed to operate in almost every type of installation. The Pre-Pleat 40 is available in 1", 2" and 4" depths, standard and high capacity versions. Also, 2" and 4" depths are available in an economy version.

Superflow - V

Superflow - V extended surface filters are low pressure drop mini-pleat filters designed for use in most commercial and industrial HVAC systems. These filters are used where medium to high efficiency filtration is required. Superflow - V mini-pleat filters have an exceptionally low clean pressure drop. This affords low fan energy costs during much of the life of the filter system.

PrecisionCell Filters

PrecisionCell extended media separator type rigid filters are designed for use in most commercial or industrial HVAC systems where medium to high efficiency filtration is required. These filters are available in average efficiency ranges of 60-65%, 80-85% and 90-95% per ASHRAE Standard 52.1 test methods. These are available in standard and high capacity versions.

Rigid-Air Filter

Rigid-Air extended media surface rigid filters are designed for use in most commercial or industrial HVAC systems where medium to high efficiency filtration is required. Rigid-Air is available in two media types: lofted fiberglass and micro- fine synthetic with average efficiencies of 50-55%, 60-65%, 80-85% and 90-95% per ASHRAE Standard 52.1 test methods.

Ring Panels, Links, Sleeves and Cubes

Ring Panel and Cube filters are made by heat-sealing layers of synthetic filtering media together over an interior, corrosion- resistant steel support frame. An over cut of media outside the seal-forms a built-in gasket (selvage) between the wire support frame and holding frame, which secures the filter and prevents air bypass. This special feature allows these filters to be installed without the use of retainer fasteners.

Spun Glass or Synthetic Media Bag Filters

Precision Pak extended surface bag filters are designed for use in most commercial or industrial HVAC systems where medium to high efficiency filtration is required. Precision Pak filters are available in two media types: lofted fiberglass and micro-fine synthetic media with average efficiency ranges of 55%, 65%, 85% and 95% per ASHRAE Standard 52.1 test methods. Operating face velocities up to 625 fpm are available for all models. Precision Pak filters in depths up to 22" are suited for variable air volume systems. Filters with greater depth are not recommended. Precision Pak filters are UL 900 Class 2 listed as a standard and are also available in UL Class 1.

HEPA Filters

Carolina Filters offers a complete line of HEPA Filters in two efficiencies to meet the needs of critical applications where HEPA filtration is required. Individual testing, rigid quality control and modern assembly methods are used to ensure conformance to specifications. Our HEPA filters are either UL 900 Class 1 or Class 2 listed.

Polyester Bulk Media Rolls and Pads

Polyester Synthetic Fiber (psf) media is extremely resilient and will withstand direct moisture. In many cases a psf media is the ideal alternative to spun glass. It makes an excellent pre-filter for high efficiency filters and offers high arrestance and dust holding capacity. Bulk media rolls are offered in selected slit widths with roll lengths determined by manufacturing processes. Pre-cut pads, as the name implies, are pads of filtration media cut to standard filter face sizes or to your desired custom sizes.

Heavy Duty Disposable Panel Filters

Heavy Duty Industrial Grade filters are designed for use in any application where disposable panel filters are recommended. They can be relied upon for superior performance since they are specifically designed for heavy workloads. A wide range of standard face sizes is available, plus nearly any "special" size.

HEPA Testing and Certification

Carolina Filters provides independent testing and certification services for new and existing Clean Rooms, Biological Safety Cabinets, Chemical Fume Hoods, and other HEPA filtered units. We also perform ASHRAE 110-1995 testing for Chemical Fume Hoods, Freon leak testing of charcoal filtered systems and formaldehyde decontaminations of any unit or space. All testing is done in full accordance with applicable standards and our equipment is calibrated annually.

Paint Booth Filtration  Carolina Filters, Inc. provides Flanders' finest custom manufactured filtration media for paint booth applications for the collision repair industry and many light industrial uses. We carry an extensive line of custom-cut diffusion media, blanket pads, panels, fiberglass and polyester paint arrestors, and bag and cube filters. Additionally, we can provide filters for larger manufacturing facilities and aerospace requirements.
