Testing Summary

Pressure readings and observations made while testing are helpful in determining whether a filter is clean and usable. Such tests include:

Bump Test
Visual Test
Bubble Point Test
Wetted Air Flow Test
Dry Air Permeability Test
Internal Inspection with Videoscope

The validity of the data generated by these tests is related to how the testing is performed. Proper test methods and procedures are essential in creating meaningful data.

CFI has equipment set up to perform the above tests on all standard filter elements. We often, however, are challenged by unusual filter sizes and configuration, which require our in-house engineering and fabrication services.

Reporting Summary

Reporting testing values can be performed in various ways. Typical reports include:

Comments
Test Values
Set Numbers
Micron Ratings
Pass-Fail Criteria
Filter Serial Number
Bubble Point Values
Statistics for the Set
Flow Test Pressures
Number of Cleaning Cycles

Reporting is customized for each customer to provide information and format desired for each application.
