IAQ Purchasing Specialist

Job Summary:

 

This position will be responsible for receiving and processing straight sale filter orders as well as filter purchases for the Internal Air Quality Division.  Routine activities will include but not be limited to shipment coordination, related customer service, and inventory maintenance.

 

Job Functions:

 

·      Creates filter quotes as needed to include obtaining freight estimates

·      Procures filters for warehouse re-supply and drop shipments

·      Performs research to cross reference competitor’s products

·      Reviews supplier invoices for accuracy

·      Audit freight bills for discrepancies

·      Responds to customer and supplier inquiries about order status or changes

·      Maintains and processes all recurring orders

·      Ensures availability of appropriate filters for CFI filter service activities

·      Resolves delivery and other issues with customer filter orders

·      Performs periodic physical inventories at all CFI filter storage locations/warehouses

·      Unloads delivery trucks as necessary

·      Must be able to lift or exert force up to 50 pounds.

·      Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.  

 

 

Minimum Training and Experience:

 

·        Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.

·        3+ years of purchasing experience

·        Customer service experience

·        Previous experience with ERP systems/inventory/software

·        Working knowledge of Microsoft software

·        Physical inventory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

·        Valid driver’s license and a driving record free of any dui or drug related violations and no more than 4 points speeding violations within the last two year period. 

 

Preferred Training and Experience

 

·        Knowledge of filtration

·        Detail oriented

·        Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
