Plant Manager
Carolina Filters, Inc. a Sumter, SC based polymer/fiber equipment cleaning and indoor air quality specialist organization is currently seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Plant Manager.
Duties:
- Provides oversight for total plant operations to include production, engineering, quality, scheduling, maintenance, inventory, shipping and receiving, and environmental departments.
- Reviews customer commitments and works with plant staff to ensure safe production, top quality and on time delivery.
- Budget development and administration.
Actively supports organization's environmental, health and safety goals with a demonstrated commitment to plant-wide adherence.
Develops and implements operational criteria and methods to track the achievement of plant objectives and measure productivity and efficiencies.
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree and at least seven (7) years of management experience in plant operations.
- Strong communication skills; must be able to effectively and professionally communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Project planning and management experience.
- P & L experience
- Proven leadership experience particularly in production management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate teams and drive plant performance.
- Solid computer/software skills
- Filtration experience is strongly desired.
