Testing & Evaluation Technician

Description:
Test and inspect filters to determine conformance to customer requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all quality standard operating procedures, work instructions and work schedules.
- Reports procedure deviations and quality problems encountered.
- Inspect filters for cleanliness and conditions prior to filter testing.
- Test filters and forwards completed forms and documentation to the T&E Supervisor.
- Reports and identifies filters and meeting test criteria or cleanliness standards.
- Performs filter serialization when requested.
- Update EIS with accurate testing information.
- Reports equipment and property damage to the T&E Supervisor.
- Performs daily calibration checks and operate all testing equipment.
- Assists as required in performing receiving inspections, preparing property for shipment and equipment calibrations.
- Comply with housekeeping directives, guidelines and sound safety practices.
- Perform all other duties as requested by T&E Supervisor or T&E Manager.
- Stand for long periods of time.
- Periodically lifts up to 50 lbs.
Minimum Training and Experience:
- Must have a High School diploma or GED.
- Able to operate and troubleshoot test equipment.
Preferred:
- Associates or BS degree in a technical discipline
- Laboratory experience
- Microsoft office skills
