Testing & Evaluation Technician
Carolina Filters, Inc. a Sumter, SC based polymer/fiber equipment cleaning and indoor air quality specialist organization is currently seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Testing and Evaluation Technician.
Responsibilities:
- Adheres to all quality standard operating procedures, work instructions and work schedules.
- Reports procedures deviations and quality problems encountered
- Inspects filters for cleanliness and conditions prior to filter testing.
- Test filters & forwards completed forms and documentation to the T&E Supervisor.
- Reports & identifies filters not meeting test criteria or cleanliness standards.
- Performs filter serialization when requested.
- Updates EIS with accurate testing information.
- Reports equipment and property damage to the T&E Supervisor.
- Performs daily calibration checks and operate all equipment testing equipment.
- Assists as required in performing receiving inspections, preparing property for shipment, and equipment calibrations.
- Comply with housekeeping directives, guidelines, and sound safety practices.
- Performs all other duties as requested by T&E Supervisor or T&E Manager.

Environment:
1. Laboratory and Industrial 2. Hours of work: 24/7 day operation organized into 12 hour shifts
Qualifications:
1. High School Degree 2. Associates or BS degree in a technical discipline preferred 3. Laboratory experience preferred 4. Microsoft office skills preferred 5. Ability to operate and troubleshoot test equipment 6. Ability to stand for long periods of time 7. Lifting requirement - approximately 50 lbs.
