Testing & Evaluation Technician

Description:

Test and inspect filters to determine conformance to customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Adheres to all quality standard operating procedures, work instructions and work schedules.
• Reports procedure deviations and quality problems encountered.
• Inspect filters for cleanliness and conditions prior to filter testing.
• Test filters and forwards completed forms and documentation to the T&E Supervisor.
• Reports and identifies filters and meeting test criteria or cleanliness standards.
• Performs filter serialization when requested.
• Update EIS with accurate testing information.
• Reports equipment and property damage to the T&E Supervisor.
• Performs daily calibration checks and operate all testing equipment.
• Assists as required in performing receiving inspections, preparing property for shipment and equipment calibrations.
• Comply with housekeeping directives, guidelines and sound safety practices.
• Perform all other duties as requested by T&E Supervisor or T&E Manager.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Periodically lifts up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Training and Experience:

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Able to operate and troubleshoot test equipment.

Preferred:

• Associates or BS degree in a technical discipline
• Laboratory experience
• Microsoft office skills
