What we do

Carolina Filters works with a variety of companies in the automotive industry. From the initial stages of manufacturing to reclamation of used parts through rust and buildup removal, we can tailor a cleaning treatment to return parts back to a contaminant free condition.

During the manufacturing process, contaminants that would otherwise lead to parts being rejected can be effectively eliminated through our cleaning treatments. A drive shaft and joint supplier for the automotive industry has trusted Carolina Filters for years for their parts cleaning expertise. Rejected parts contaminated with bearing grease are cleaned of contaminants, inspected, and packaged in our parts cleaning shop. From there, the parts can be returned to the manufacturer ready for rework.

Our ability to assist the industry also extends to reclamation of used parts. Even when not physically damaged or compromised, contamination such as rust and scale can reduce functionality and cause parts to no longer be suited for reuse and resale. Through our cleaning treatments, various components such as transmission gears and housings, brake calipers and rotors, and mufflers are able to be returned to a contaminant free state.
