Jelly and Candy Cooker Cleaning

JellyStar Cookers or Rapid Solver Cookers are used in a variety of applications to produce jellifying agents. The cookers can become fouled to the point which pressure drop is affected (and in turn, the product) and it needs to be taken offline and cleaned. With the combination of heat and chemical baths, Carolina Filters processes the JellyStar to remove charred residue deeply embedded between the heating coil tubes. 

The areas between the tubes are inspected with a borescope and bright light to ensure removal of all charred material throughout the bundle. Reprocessing might be necessary depending on how fouled the JellyStar has become. After the cooker passes inspection, it is assembled, pressure tested, and sent back to the customer ready for reuse.
